Today is the big election in the USA, and a lot of people are going to be upset, either way.  I have been getting a lot of questions, inquiries, and searches lately about how to apply for residency here in Mexico.  I talked to Mily at Legally in Mexico yesterday, and I am going to do a post in the near future about how easy it is here to apply for residency in Mexico..

  1. When Ronald Reagan ran for President, it was argued he would bring us into WW III. FEAR is a typical initial reaction when a NON CONVENTIONAL candidate is elected President. It is likely Trump will accept the responsibility that comes with the position seriously. For a country to move forward in a positive light, unification must be a priority on the agenda.


    1. Well sure, Americans need to move forward. However, Trump promised to build a wall between your country and mine, and I find that completely sad and outrageous. So as a Mexican, I’ll probably have to live with the consequences of this election and I didn’t even get a say in it. Because the truth is the USA has never ceased to be a great, big, powerful country and whatever happens there has consequences for the rest of the world, for better or worse.

      1. Donald made many promises. We will now see which of them was rhetoric and which of them will be pursued. Hopefully, the goal is NOT to hurt other countries, but rather to safeguard our own and create greater stability at home, which, in turn, will likely benefit the rest of the world.
